HELENA -- On May 4, restaurants were given the go ahead to seat and serve diners in their establishments, and now 11 days after that decree, On Broadway will add it's name to the list of restaurants that are seating diners.

When Governor Bullock's stay home order was put in place, Patrick Cassidy chose to take the time and make some renovations to the dining room and renovate the building next door into a completely new seating area for the restaurant. Now that his restaurant is back open to the public for dine-in service he and his staff are ecstatic as they await their arrival.

"We're pretty darn excited. It's going to be an interesting little go," said Cassidy.

Though the restaurant will be open Cassidy knows that the safety of his staff and customers come first, which is why he's requiring his staff to wear masks and gloves as well as installing a new reservation system that will text diners when their table is ready to avoid crowding in the waiting area.

As far as the new side of the restaurant, Cassidy told MTN News that the area should be ready by June 15.
