A WINTER STORM WARNING has been issued for the Rocky Mountain Front, where the winter storm will arrive sooner and stay longer. This area could possibly see blizzard conditions this weekend.
The time frame for the most severe weather will be Friday evening through Sunday evening. Rain will transition to snow overnight as temperatures drop. Snowfall will become more widespread on Saturday, and continue on Sunday. Snowflakes could linger through the middle of next week, even as temperatures begin to slowly rise above the freezing point.
