A HIGH WIND WARNING is in effect through Saturday afternoon and evening.
The final weekend of spring will be very stormy. Wind will howl across the state on Saturday with the possibility of power outages and some damage to trees. The wind will create very uncomfortable conditions outside. High temperatures will be in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Isolated thunderstorms will pop in the afternoon and evening. Sunday will be a completely different day. Temperatures will be much cooler with highs only in the 50s and 60s. Showers and thunderstorms will be more numerous across the state. The mountains above 7000' will be cold enough for snow to fly. Sunday will be another windy day with speeds between 20-40mph. The final week of spring will be active with showers, thunderstorms and cool temperatures.
