Today will be a perfect summer day. A high-pressure ridge will continue to build and bring dry conditions, mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures to the region. The high temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 80s for the entire state, and the wind will be nonexistent. Tomorrow will start off pleasant with sunny skies, warm temperatures, and slightly breezy conditions at times; until a cold front passes through the state late afternoon/early evening. Tomorrow's westerly flow will keep the state relatively dry until an unstable airmass helps spark up showers and thunderstorms tomorrow night. Fire danger can become a concern, especially with the temperatures warming up, slightly gusty wind at times, and the low humidity. Thursday, the state will have overcast skies, cooler temperatures, widespread rain showers, and thunderstorms. The temperatures will drop nearly 10- 15 degrees, and most areas highs will cool to the 60s and 70s. By Friday, the temperatures will rebound back into the 80s, and the sun will return.
Enjoy your day, and congratulations to all 2020 graduates🎓!
