Mostly clear skies will stick around for today. A strong high-pressure will continue to build, creating warmer temperatures and mostly sunny skies for the state. A few pop-up showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely to develop over the mountains and move across north-central Montana. The wind will subside, and the temperatures will warm into the upper 70s and low 80s. Tomorrow's southerly flow will aid in the increase in temperatures. The high temperatures will climb to the 80s and 90s. The beginning of the day will stay with sunny skies, but by the evening, isolated thunderstorms will develop and move through central Montana. Saturday will start with partly cloudy skies and above-average temperatures. The wind will return, and at times the wind will be sustained between 20-40 mph in some areas. Scattered showers will develop during the afternoon. On Flag, it will be mostly cloudy with cooler temperatures, and gusty wind. The mountains will have snow showers, and the lower elevations will have scattered rain showers.
Enjoy your day, and congratulations to all 2020 graduates🎓
