A very chilly air mass has settled over the region. Some areas may experience morning frost. Lastnight nighttime lows have dropped below freezing in some areas, but don't worry; a warming trend will begin today. It's always good to remember in these cold conditions to take action to protect any garden or outdoor plants. The temperatures will remain mild but will trend 10-15 degrees warmer than yesterday's temperatures. The highs will stay in the 60s and mid to low 70s. The sun will stick around through the remainder of the week as a ridge of high pressure moves in.
Tomorrow will be another sunny and dry day. The temperatures will gradually warm to the 70s, and a couple of locations in northwest Montana will stay in the low 80s.
Friday, the temperatures will warm to the upper 70s and 80s, and the wind will slightly increase.
If you are thinking about making plans this weekend, the temperatures will be pleasant. The highs will stay in the 80s, and a few locations will flirt with the 90s. The wind will be slightly gusty at times.
Monday, a few clouds will linger, and a few locations, temperatures will work its way back to the low 90s.
The next chance for showers will be on Tuesday.
Have a great day,
A.R.😊
