Rain calming down for now

After a stormy weekend, the active weather is calming down. A weak high-pressure system is setting up over Montana for the middle of this week, but a few scattered showers will still hang on for today.

Calmer, clearer weather will follow for Tuesday and Wednesday while high pressure is in place, but since this system won't be very strong, it will be quickly replaced when the next disturbance moves through later this week.

Thursday will be the beginning of another gloomy stretch in Montana, with showers and thunderstorms to end the work week. The rain will hang on strong for the beginning of the weekend, but hopefully we'll see some more sunshine by Sunday.
