High Pressure to Dominate the West

Posted
and last updated

Welcome to the weekend! Strong wind will howl across the Rocky Mountain Front and north-central Montana. While a weak cold front will move through early on, the weekend will end on a rather sunny note. Any snow showers will be confined to the mountains, with little to no accumulation likely. Highs will be above average in the 30s and 40s. Clouds will increase as a weak low pressure moves into the state on Monday. A few snow showers will develop late in the day across western Montana. A good southwest wind will gust up over 30mph at times. This small low pressure will keep a few snow showers around through Monday night into Tuesday. Accumulation will be light, on the order of a coating up to an inch or two. Highs will be cooler in the 30s. This disturbance will move out for Wednesday with high pressure once again redeveloping across the West. The high will produce clear skies and above average temperatures for the remainder of the week and through the weekend.
Have a great weekend!
