A cold front has moved in over the last few hours, which will result in much cooler temperatures this afternoon. Yesterday's high temperatures were in the mid-90s, and today temperatures will max out in the 70s. In addition to the cooler temperatures, there will also be widespread rainfall. Drizzle and isolated showers will begin this afternoon, but the evening is when rainfall will become heavier, especially around the Helena area. Showers will continue overnight into Friday morning, tapering off throughout the day Friday. There could be a few isolated showers Friday afternoon, but drier weather will move in for the evening. This weekend, temperatures will increase and potential storm activity will decrease. On Sunday, isolated showers are possible, but this will be very late in the evening, potentially lasting until Monday morning.
