Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there. The weather will be quite beautiful the entire weekend. Highs will be in the 70s to around 80 under mostly bluebird skies. If there’s one thing to watch, it may be a few isolated thunderstorms along the Hi-Line late in the day on Sunday. The National Forest Service is performing some prescribed burns in various National Forests, so smoke may be visible at times. Next week will stay warm, but more thunderstorms will develop through the week. Some thunderstorms could turn nasty with large hail and damaging wind. Most of the thunderstorms so far this year have been pretty tame compared to what’s likely to strike the state on Wednesday and Thursday.
