Happy Spring!
This month started out with temperatures reaching into the 20s below zero, but temperatures have increased significantly in the last few weeks. The old saying about the month of March coming “in like a lion and out like a lamb” is certainly ringing true for Montana this year.
The persistent high pressure over the Northwest will continue through the end of the work week, breaking down just in time for the weekend. Pacific moisture will bring rain Saturday afternoon and as a cold front approaches Sunday, this will transition to heavy snowflakes. However, the spring snow won’t last long- the sunshine will return for the beginning of next week.
