The snowy cycle continues today. Montana woke up to a blanket of fresh snow this morning, and it’s not the end of the snow just yet. There’s another chance of snow in the Capital City tonight, followed by multiple rounds of snow later this week. Things will finally clear out by the weekend, but approaching arctic air will settle into Montana for Saturday and Sunday, so things won’t be warming up for a while.
Today, a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for parts of the hi-line for continued snow and bitter cold temperatures. A WINTER STORM WARNING is in effect for the southern half of the state, where up to 2″ of additional snowfall is possible. A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect for north-central Montana, including Helena and Great Falls, due to extremely cold wind chill values. Bundle up and drive safely!
