Temperatures have been frigid to start this Friday, but we have a nice sunny afternoon to look forward to, with temperatures reaching into the upper 20s. North-central Montana will be relatively calm, with the exception of the Northern Rocky Mountain Front. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in place there due to the high winds expected this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts as high as 40 miles per hour will cause potentially blowing and drifting snow. Take caution if you have plans to travel in this area.
After the sunshine today, we’re heading into a snowy and cloudy stretch for the end of the month. In terms of the weekend, Sunday will be much snowier than Saturday. The snow will continue through the end of next week.
Have a great weekend!
