A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect for counties in eastern Montana. Wind chills in this area could reach as low as 30 degrees below zero. In other areas of the state, the wind chills are well below freezing, so even if there’s not an advisory in your area, you’ll want to bundle up!
The rest of this week will be characterized by a gradual warm-up on the plains and inversions in the valleys. As the high pressure breaks down on Saturday, the temperatures will increase into the 40s, but that won’t last long, as a cold front will come through Sunday, dropping the temperatures significantly. The first week of February will be a snowy one, with chances of snow for Sunday through Tuesday.
Have a great day!
