After an extremely chilly start yesterday morning, temperatures today are a bit more reasonable.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for areas above 450′ in central and south-central MT.
A brief dose of snow is moving through today but should be out of our area by tonight. Saturday, some places in north-central Montana could see some brief snowfall, but the big day to watch is Sunday.
A cold front is coming through on Sunday, bringing lots of snow along with it. Precipitation will begin as a mix of rain and snow, transitioning to snow as temperatures drop. Monday will be significantly colder after the front moves through.
