High pressure still dominates our weather pattern for the beginning of this week. The ridge over the western U.S. is still hanging around today, which means valleys will continue to be inverted, and air quality will not be the best. We will hopefully start to get some cleaner air mixing into the valleys by midweek. Thursday we will finally see the return of winter weather, with another dose of long-awaited snowfall. This will span from late Thursday into Friday morning, and most areas in the state should see at least a dusting of snowfall.
