While Monday started off snowy, today is a different story.  It will be a colder- but drier- day overall, and winds will be calmer as well.  Tonight, cloud cover will begin building ahead of the next front coming on Wednesday, which will bring a chance for rain, snow, and freezing rain.  The precipitation will end almost as quickly as it begins, and the rest of our week will be dominated by high pressure.  Thursday will be the warmest day this week, as the high pressure approaches and strengthens over the Intermountain West.  Then for the end of the week and into the weekend, temperatures will be markedly different between Helena and Great Falls.  Valley locations will be drastically colder than plains locations, thanks to temperature inversions.

Have a great day.
