A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY has been issued for most of western and central Montana for Tuesday night and Wednesday.  Another round of snow will increase overnight into the morning and many roads will snow covered and slippery, so leave yourself some extra time.  Wednesday will be cold too with highs only in the 20s for most of the state, 10s in the mountains.  Snow will accumulate 1-3″ in the lower elevations, but 3-7″ in the mountains and off of the Rocky Mountain Front.  Wednesday night the sky will clear out and temperatures will plunge into the 0s and 10s.  Some normally colder spots in the mountains and off the Rocky Mountain Front may drop below 0!  Thursday will be a mostly sunny day with highs in the 30s.  Thursday night and Friday morning could be even colder with lows in the 0s above and below zero.  Friday will briefly warm up with an increase in wind.   Highs will reach the 30s and 40s, but clouds will increase through the afternoon.  Snow showers will move in Friday night and Saturday morning.  Another couple of inches are possible in the mountains.  Saturday will have scattered snow showers, wind and cold highs in the 20s and 30s.  Sunday, another cold front will bring snow showers back into the picture later in the day.  Highs will be in the 30s, but temperatures will fall into the 0s again by Monday morning.  Next week, a warmer and windier pattern will set up by Tuesday with temperatures warming to around 50.

Have a great day!
