Happy November. Yesterday, Montana got plenty of rain and high-elevation snow, but things have quieted down this morning. However, this dry period won’t last long- there is lots of Pacific moisture still to come to the Treasure State. The first week of the new month will bring plenty of rain, snow, and a mix of both, so it’s probably not a bad time to start thinking about putting on those snow tires.
Showers will begin again in Montana this afternoon and continue overnight. Most folks will be waking up to a bit of rain tomorrow, followed by another blast of Pacific- moisture- fed rain showers again later Friday evening. This weekend- the longest weekend of the year- is going to be wet as well, with a mixture of rain and snow that will transition to low-elevation snow by Monday.
Have a great day!
