Frightening Weather Headed Our Way

and last updated

Happy Halloween!  The weather today feels appropriate for the occasion.  This morning, things are starting out clear and chilly but there is a lot of active weather headed our way.  Rain and high- elevation snow will move into Montana this afternoon and will continue all evening.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY will go into effect for areas in Cascade county above 6000′, including King’s Hill Pass.  This area will see between 3-7″ of snow, and experience wind gusts up to 35 mph.

Trick-or-treating weather will be cold and wet, with temperatures in the 30s.  The rain and snow will continue through the end of the week, thanks to a stream of moisture coming from the Pacific Ocean.

Have a great day.
