Good morning and happy Friday! A cold front brought a drop in temperatures as well as rain and snow to the region yesterday.
Rain and snow have, for the most part, moved out, but cooler below normal temperatures remain today and through the weekend.
Our morning is starting off with widespread patchy fog across portions of the state. Clouds will stick around in the morning before starting to gradually clear through the late morning and afternoon.
Today’s afternoon high temperatures will be in the 40s and 50s.
Tomorrow will bring in an upper-level disturbance which brings rain and snow back into the forecast to central and southwest portions of the state.
This disturbance will arrive late in the day on Saturday and continue through Sunday.
Some light rain/snow mix is possible in the plains with even some snow accumulations.
Higher accumulations expected for the Rockies and the mountain passes.
Temperatures will start feeling more like fall again by the start of next week on Monday.
