Happy Fall, y’all! Saturday was the Autumnal Equinox, which marks the official beginning of the season, although meteorological Autumn began on September 1st. On the equinox, there is an equal amount of daylight and darkness, so from now until the Vernal Equinox, the nights will be longer than the days.

Today’s weather will be similar to Sunday’s, with scattered showers and heavy cloud cover.  Rainfall will persist through most of today, tapering off overnight into Tuesday.  At higher elevations, there will be snowfall. While we will get a break from the moisture on Tuesday, another front will move into Montana starting late Wednesday.  This week will end on a wet note, with rain and snow showers continuing through the end of the weekend.

Have a great week.
