Improved Air Quality In Montana Today

Many locations in Montana received significant rainfall yesterday.  Today, while the rain has calmed down, conditions will still be cloudy and cool.  Fortunately, the rain and associated low-pressure system have improved our air quality.  While many locations are still at a “Moderate” level of air quality, this is a significant improvement from just two days ago.

Temperatures today will be slightly warmer than yesterday and will continue to warm later this week.  Another round of thunderstorms will hit Southwest Montana Wednesday afternoon, reaching the capital city by the evening.  There is a very small chance of isolated thunderstorms reaching Great Falls, but it could happen.  Thursday will be dry for Western Montana, while the Eastern Plains get rained on.  The end of the work week and the weekend are looking warm and dry.

Have a great day.
