Wait, it's this warm and now it's winter?

Happy Winter! Some people surely will be happy with the unusual warmth to kick off winter. It's ironic since much off autumn was very winter-like with below average temperatures and record snow. With a decent amount of sunshine, Saturday and Sunday will be warm with highs in the 40s and 50s. A few locations could come close to 60 degrees and a few record highs will be set. The only area to have some sloppy weather will be extreme northwest Montana including the Glacier area with clouds, wind, valley rain and mountain snow. Temperatures will cool off on Monday with highs back down in the 30s and 40s. A few snow showers will move over the mountains. Tuesday is Christmas Eve and most of the day will be pleasant. Skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures will be in the 30s. Clouds will increase late in the day as a weak system could bring a few snow showers late in the evening. Christmas Day...will it be white? That weak system will spread a glimmer of hope for a White Christmas, as a few snow showers will move through on the Holiday. Temperatures will be colder in the 20s and 30s through the end of the week.
Have a great weekend.
