Spring in Montana! Can't You Tell?

Happy Spring!
It may not have looked or felt like spring out across Montana today, but the seasons change exactly at 9:50pm. The low clouds, cold temperatures, high humidity and light snow showers will clear out for Friday, the first full day of spring. Not only will it be Friday, but temperatures will be warmer and there will be more sunshine. Morning temperatures and afternoon highs will be chilly but there will be more sunshine through the day. The first weekend of spring will be very nice as highs warm into the 40s and even a few 50s with mostly sunny skies both days. There will be a few mountain snow showers on Saturday, scattered snow showers Saturday night, but most of the state will be dry for most of the weekend. The first storm of spring will hold off until later Monday through Tuesday. Another accumulation of snow is possible in the lower elevations on Tuesday. Cooler than average weather with scattered snow showers will continue for Wednesday and Thursday. It's spring in Montana...
