The wake-up temperatures for today are below freezing in portions of Montana. A weak cold front has caused temperatures to drop. Central Montana experienced a light mix rain/snow shower early this morning. With temperatures below freezing in areas of Montana, it will create icy roads. Even though temperatures have been warming up, much of the snow is still visible on the sidewalks and streets. Today we will have slightly cooler temperatures and mostly cloudy skies. Tomorrow and Saturday, temperatures start to rebound. The temperature will climb to the '50s in some areas in Montana. With temperatures increasing, much of the snow will melt. A cold airmass will move in Saturday night, leaving unsettling weather, Saturday night going into Sunday, a widespread of light snow across Montana. The accumulating snow leaves a mild coating around the Capitol. Temperatures will drop to below freezing for much of the Treasure State. Next week, temperatures will begin to fall below freezing. Even though temperatures are warming up, roads remain slick, so drive slow!
Have a good day,
Asia Raye😊
