Virtual tip jar: GoFundMe pages started for two Helena businesses

GoFundMe pages have been set up to help two Helena small businesses during the pandemic.

It is named the Virtual Tip Jar.

The owner of Capitol Hill Barber and Styling Salon created a GoFundMe page to support their employees. The business says that barbers and stylists rely heavily on tips.

They raised and reached their goal of $4,200 in just four days.

Crossfit of Helena also created a GoFundMe page.

The owner, Mark Olsom, took over the business on March 1st of this year, then had to close weeks later due to the pandemic.

Since April 7th, 2020, over $4,500 were raised to help keep the business running. Their goal is $5,000.
