Only immediate family members, including parents, step-parents, guardians and siblings, will be allowed inside Miles City School activities this fall, said Kyle Dunfee, Miles City Unified School District activities director Tuesday.
Visiting fans from outside Custer County will not be allowed to attend school activities and sporting events, according to the plan released by the school district.
School administrators worked to make sure parents had opportunities to see their kids play, especially after the 2019-20 season was shortened, Dunfee told Q2 over the phone.
Grandparents will not be allowed to attend events. Dunfee said the reason is that school staff want to protect the senior population from disease spread.
A host of social distancing and sanitation procedures will be implemented for athletes and fans as the season starts. To view the Miles City plan for fall activities, click here.
