Beargrass Trading Company is hosting an online silent auction for the Helena Food Share.
This auction opened April 13th, 2020 on Facebook with many items to bid on, from gift certificates to art.
Beargrass said over 25 merchants have donated items for the auction. All proceeds will go to the Helena Food Share. Sold items will be delivered or offered curbside pickup.
Because they cannot accept food donations at this time, Beargrass held these auctions to continue their support for the food share.
This is the third silent auction. About $5,000 have already been raised in total, as of April 17th, 2020.
“I’ve been just so delighted by the community, by the support, the outpouring, financial resources and I know that this is tough for a lot of people. Yet, they still give from the heart, and they’re still supporting their neighbors and that’s what this is really about, is all of us, neighbors supporting neighbors. So, thank you,” says Cindy Loacker, the owner of the Beargrass Trading Company.
