Light showers will continue to move through southwestern Montana throughout the morning. The state will have an increase in cloud cover, but the temperatures will remain warm. By the afternoon, a cold front will pass along with scattered thunderstorms. Some areas will get hit back to back with multiple rounds of thunderstorms. As of now, the risk is low, but it could reach severe status. If it reaches severe status, powerful winds will surface along with large hail. The storm will move eastward and will exit the state during the overnight hours. Today's temperatures remain slightly above average. A warm front will keep eastern Montana temperatures in the '80s, western and central Montana temperatures will stay in the '60s and low '70s. Friday morning, the skies will clear, and the sun will return along with the gusty wind. The mountains may see a few isolated rain/snow showers. The high temperatures for tomorrow will be in the upper'50s and '60s. Saturday, we will have mostly sunny skies, warm temperatures, and light wind. Our next weather maker will arrive on Sunday.
Enjoy your day,
