It was quite the holiday celebration in Plains earlier this week as the Polar Express rumbled through the school.
Plains School Superintendent Tom Chisholm started doing themed events for holidays a few years ago.
For the Polar Express, students were handed golden tickets as they entered the school, which had railroad tracks on the floor.
The principal's office was the main train station.
Community members donated money for supplies and then toured the event.
There are 10 breakout sessions for the more than 200 kids from kindergarten to fourth grade to cycle through.
