A total of 112 athletes (56 male and 56 female) will compete in short track at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Nations may enter a maximum of five athletes per gender, provided A) they have earned the maximum amount of quota spots in international competition ahead of the Olympics and B) they have qualified a relay team to the Games.
The 2022 U.S. Olympic short track team will be nominated at the U.S. Olympic Short Track Trials, December 17, 2021, at the Utah Olympic Oval outside Salt Lake City.
