Bullock campaign says $1M raised in first 24 hours

HELENA- Governor Steve Bullock’s presidential campaign says it received contributions from all 50 states during the first day of the campaign.

In a news release Wednesday, campaign officials say donations totaled $1 million.

Governor Bullock launched his campaign Tuesday in Helena. He joins a field of nearly two dozen Democratic candidates hoping to challenge President Donald Trump in 2020.

How do Bullock’s totals compare to current front runners Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden?

According to CNN, Joe Biden raised $6.3 million in the first 24 hours of his campaign. Sanders raised $5.9 million in his first day of campaigning.

From Helena Governor Bullock headed to Iowa, the home of the first in the nation presidential caucuses. He will stop in nine cities over two days.
