Summer snow next weekend? It's a ways off still but a bigger storm capable of producing mountain snow it looking more likely. A strong low pressure will push the monsoon high and its heat off to the south and east.
A much colder airmass and some moisture could result in flakes flying in the higher terrain. Cooler temperatures and a chance of rain will help fire season. A northwest flow could also deliver clean air. You heard it here first.
