There was a treat for students who attend DeSmet School in Missoula on Wednesday.
Teachers and school staff wanted to show their students how much they're missing them as Montana public schools remain closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
They took to the open road, running a parade through their neighborhoods on the west side of Missoula to let the students know they're thinking about them.
The vehicles were decorated with signs and ribbons, some with students' names written on the windows in shoe polish.
With the appropriate social distancing in mind, the teachers and staff waved to their kiddos, with students waving back enthusiastically.
DeSmet School -- like others in Montana -- will remain out until at least April 24 due to coronavirus concerns.
