Job Service Helena is reminding everyone that their services are still open despite offices being closed.

Job Service says to call the office with your inquiry and someone can help over the phone. Job Service can also help file for unemployment insurance.

According to the Department of Labor, over 35,000 Montanans have received unemployment benefits. Last week, the department reported that phone lines were busy with almost half a million calls.

If reaching them is difficult, Job Service says they can help and to give them a call.

“Don’t give up. Keep trying to call us and we’ll do the very best. We can help with any needs you might have related to employment or unemployment at this time to help keep you going,” says Carol Rule, the Job Service Helena Manager.

Job Service also says that grocery and home improvement stores are still hiring.
