Edgewood hosted a concert, social distancing style, for their residents.

Edgewood said they are no longer able to provide group activities for their residents to keep them safe from this pandemic, but that won’t stop them from celebrating Easter.

Around 30 singers from different churches gathered along the front building of Edgewood to provide a singing worship service. Residents sat in front of their windows listening and singing along to continue Easter celebrations.

“Some of our residents have been celebrating Easter for 90 years and I didn't want them to miss that. As somber as it sound, you never know what holiday will be the last for our family and friends inside Edgewood and I just thought that, I didn’t want Easter to be canceled this year and so I’m hoping that, they don’t feel like it’s canceled, they still feel encouraged,” says Julia Ellingboe, the Life Enrichment Director at Edgewood.
