The Vigilante Major Subdivision in East Helena is expected to break ground March 2020.

The development spent the fall of 2019 going through the public process; hearing public comments before being submitted for review.

The subdivision is next to the developing East Helena High School.

The high school is expected to be finished this year.

The subdivision says it will have 72 single-family homes with sidewalks and walking paths heading to all the schools in East Helena.

The project has been in the making for about 13 years.

The owner says he’s excited for the project to finally break ground.

“It's pretty exciting. I'm really relieved that we’re this far. I mean, it was quite a stressful process, I mean. It was not for a fan of heartache, I should say, because there are a lot of different things you have to deal with,” says Jerry Kittson, the co-owner of the subdivision.

Various agencies will review the development before the expected ground breaking in March 2020.
