The Northwest Veterans Food Pantry has picked a donation of $20,000-worth of food.
The donations were given by Mitch Memorial Run for the Vets in honor of Richard Flieher and Mitch Kopszyk and were loaded onto a truck at Harvest Foods in Bigfork. Both Flieher and Kopszyk were killed in a motorcycle accident in 2008.
This donation was unique. Instead of donating a check to the Northwest Veteran's Food Pantry, friends of Flieher and Kopsyzk physically loaded the large amount of food onto a truck to take to the Northwest Veteran's Food Pantry.
