Law enforcement, firefighters, paramedics and tow truck drivers all received recognition in Billings Saturday night.

Vehicles with left the parking lot 24th Street West near St. John's Avenue.

A procession went down 24th, to King Avenue West, to Shiloh Road.

The group held First Responder Appreciation Day at Rimrock Kia.

The event came together after Back the Blue rallies in the area.

"It shows that we are a very appreciative community for our police and fire, EMS," said Jill Fox, 1st Responder Appreciation Day organizer. "So that I hope that it makes them understand that we are here for them and we are going to support them in any way they need it."

Fox said she was motivated for this event, after help she received last year after losing her home to a fire.
