HELENA — The National Weather Service reported 24 hour closure of Interstate 15 near Conrad Monday afternoon.
According to a civil emergency message sent from National Weather Service, a semi-truck rolled in the northbound lane right as I-15 enters Conrad.
The NWS alert says the message was sent at the request of the Pondera County Department of Emergency Services.
Only emergency vehicles will be allowed on the interstate.
KTVH Chief Meteorologist Curtis Grevenitz says the area is experiencing strong winds. The National Weather Service says strong winds are expected in the area through at least Wednesday morning.
As of 4:00 p.m., the Montana Travel and Weather Information page did not show the interstate closed. Drivers should check with local authorities to determine the best route through the area.
