HELENA — Out of an abundance of caution, the Lewis & Clark Library Main Branch is closing effective immediately.
John Finn, Director of the Lewis & Clark Library announced Thursday afternoon that “in order to ensure the safety of our staff and patrons, I have made the difficult decision to close the Library until further notice.”
Online services will remain accessible but Holds Pick-Up will be suspended until further notice. In addition, Phone a Librarian services will also be suspended until the Library reopens.
“We will keep the public updated as we make plans to reopen the Library and resume Holds Pick-Up. Please watch our social media pages, in addition to our website, for updates,” explained Finn.
Again, the Main Branch of the Lewis & Clark Library will close effective immediately. Patrons can access their online accounts but Holds Pick-Up and Phone a Librarian Services are suspended until further notice.
