Helena Planning Division to host additional Cruse Ave. redevelopment meetings

HELENA — The City of Helena Planning Division will host two public meetings via the Zoom virtual platform to discuss the first draft of the Cruse Avenue Redevelopment Plan.

In an effort to increase economic development opportunities in the Downtown District, the City of Helena is looking to transform the Cruse Avenue corridor.

In May 2020, the City hosted six public discussions on the topic of Redeveloping Cruse Avenue.

The first draft of a redevelopment plan, based on these meetings and testimony from key stakeholders, is nearing completion and staff are again seeking public input.

These meetings will discuss the different options [expand on this a bit— what kind of options are presented if different than the design, as well as key components of the preferred design.
