A Helena barber shop is having a special this month- bring in a turkey, or any other Thanksgiving staples, and you'll get a discount on a haircut!
Secy Severa owns Black Eye Legrand Barber Shop in Helena.
She says Thanksgiving has always been her favorite holiday, and this year she wanted to try something different.
She's asking her customers to donate items that she can add to Thanksgiving baskets and deliver to families in need.
For each item you buy, if you bring in your receipt she will deduct the total from your hair cut cost.
She says it's important to give back.
Servera says, "I think it all started because I don't come from the best background and I am definitely here today because of help, you know, I did not get here by myself, so I just thought it would be a good idea. I try to give back as much as I can, whenever I can. It is something my parents drilled in me. Helena is awesome, it is amazing, they always helped me out, so I thought, perfect community to do it with."
Secy says she'll be doing this up until the day before Thanksgiving.
