HELENA — In just a few weeks, daredevils will take the plunge into freezing cold water at Spring Meadow State Park.
But they’re freezing for a reason. The goal: raise money for local Special Olympics athletes at the 20th annual Sweetheart Passion Plunge.
Helena police officer Monica Kuehn joined Daybreak live in studio to share why she’s involved and encourages others to jump, too.
The plunge is happening Saturday, February 8th at 12 p.m. at Spring Meadow State Park.
You can register online at www.somt.org/plunge. The plunge helps benefit more than 3,000 athletes in dozens of communities across Montana.
