MISSOULA – A 91-year-old Lolo resident who was staying in a rehab center recovering from a fall recently had his home burglarized.

Authorities say a TV, a stereo, office supplies, tools and much more were taken from his home.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office says they have increased patrols due to a high volume of thefts and burglaries in the area.

Authorities say the saddest part of this story is that the victim had suffered another major loss when everything he owned including his home was lost in the Roaring Lion Fire. He had relocated from the Hamilton area to Lolo in hopes of rebuilding a new life.

He and his family are not only doing with the loss of monetary items but are also shaken with the loss of their security.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call (406) 721 4444.
