55 year-old Helena man accused of providing drugs to underage girls

HELENA – A 55 year-old Helena man is accused of providing drugs to two underage girls.

Kevin Lamping has been charged with four counts of felony criminal distribution of dangerous drugs, and two counts of misdemeanor unlawful transactions with children.

According to court documents, Lamping picked up the two girls sometime in mid-June, and allegedly took them to a drug dealer’s house to some marijuana before returning to Lamping’s home.

Prosecutors say that is where he proceeded to give both of them alcohol and methamphetamine.

Court records say one of the girls, quote “blacked out”.

The other girl told investigators Lamping offered to help her inject the methamphetamine.

The judge set bond at $75,000.
