HELENA – A 31 year-old Helena woman is accused of breaking into an apartment and threatening a man with a baseball bat.

Megan Obroslinski appeared via video in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Tuesday afternoon.

Court documents say police were called to a Lyndale apartment on Monday, when Obroslinski allegedly crawled through a broken window and chased the man with a bat, while accusing him of stealing items from her apartment.

When interviewed by police, she admitted that she knew police had seized suspected stolen items from her apartment during a previous burglary and theft investigation.

However, Obroslinski said she did not know what had been taken by authorities and worried that some items may have been stolen from her apartment.

At the time of her arrest, she was out on her own recognizance for the previous charges.

The judge set bond at $40,000.
