SHELBY — Wednesday morning Toole County reported a sixth person had died as a result of COVID-19.
According to the Toole County Health Department the victim was a man in his 70's.
Toole County currently has six active coronavirus cases. all being the result of close contact transmission within local congregate settings. Anyone who has been in close contact with these individuals has been placed in quarantine.
Since the outbreak began in Montana Toole County has reported 29 total coronavirus cases.
The death in Toole County brings the state total to 14.
Montana reported two additional COVID-19 cases on Wednesday bringing the state total to 439. The two new cases were reported in Missoula and Yellowstone
