HELENA – Helena’s Annual “Symphony Under the Stars” is less than a month away and organizers say they need volunteers to sign up to help.
The theme this year is a tribute to the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.
Franklin passed away last August. She won an astonishing 18 Grammy’s over a six-decade music career as well as a number of other awards.
Intrepid Credit Union’s, “Symphony Under the Stars” draws an average of 18,000 people to Carroll College campus each summer.
Music Director, Maestro Allan R. Scott, spoke with MTN and said that they need volunteers to help with everything from parking to initial set up.
“We always need help; we always need volunteers. Whether there be the bucket brigade for free-will offerings, or whether it be for Helena Food Share, or just for manning an opening for where there are different parking lots, we always need the help. So, if you can donate an hour or two of your time, we would love to have you.”
The 16th annual Intrepid Credit Union “Symphony Under the Stars’” is July 20, at 8:30 p.m.
